Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1 level teaspoon baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup pecans
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Cook milk, sugar and soda in a large pan until it forms a soft ball. Add butter and vanilla and beat until it begins to harden. Add pecans. Drop from a spoon onto waxed paper. Makes about 20 pralines.
