Pecan Apple Brownies

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine 

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar 

  • 1 cup white sugar 

  • 2 eggs 

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 

  • 1 1/2 cups flour 

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder 

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 

  • 1 cup chopped apples (I prefer Granny Smith) 

  • 1 cup chopped pecans 

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix butters, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in apples and pecans. Spread in a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake approximately 40 minutes. Watch closely and DO NOT OVERBAKE. Best if a little gooey.
